Hay Deep Spacers,

So recently there has been a lot of chit chat behind the scenes about OCC Discussion, Mission Discussions, etc. In the beginning I think our OOC Post served it's purpose when the crew was small. But thank to all our hard work we have gained a few and now I worry the OOC post is not as effective as it could be. With the increase in traffic, it gets muddled and confusing at times. Something I do agree with.

There has been some talk about possible solutions and I wanted to pick everyone's brain. Get your thoughts, and see what ideas you have. Some of the ideas presented:

1. Turn the Personal Logs into more of an OOC discussion. It is a possibility but I think it is not as effective. Since the site doesn't send replies to the players no one would know when a comment is added. We could install a mod, if I can find it, that would email all players when a comment is added; but still not sure we want our OOC topic for all to see. Which would be the case if you use the Personal Log system

2. Install a forum. I won't lie I don't particularly like forums but for this case I am willing to make it work. But this would require everyone to be a part of the forum so they can join in on discussions. I think forums used in this sense would be workable as you don't need to check them daily, like you would for a posting format. Forums would allow for things like polls and other features not presently available.

3. Don't reinvent the wheel leave it like it is!

These are just some things I was thinking of, I would like to see other people's opinions and advice. Please be respectful of someone else's opinion even if you don't like it :)
