Hay Deep Spacers,

Well considering how much fun this was the first time; Kai and I have decided to hold the DS7's Second Annual Joint Post Contest. What follows is the same guidelines as before just refreshed or changed for current time and crew. There are some differences for the older crew members, make sure you read the following carefully.

This contest will start tomorrow and will go to either the end of the current missions or 3 months; whichever comes first. Sounds easy, well as always there are a few rules you must follow in order to win. So let’s get that part over with.

Rules

1. The Player must be actively involved in the JP; one or two lines won’t count. We also will not count Staff Briefings as these are required posts.
2. The majority of the JPs must be Mission/Main Plot Related.
3. The JPs must be at least 1000-word count in length.
4. The Player must have been involved in JPs with at least 6 different crew members throughout their posts. So doing 20 JPs with only one player and no one else will disqualify you. The point is to get out and interact with everyone on the simm.

I will keep track of the points and announce the winner at the end of the contest. For the winning crew member, you will get to select one of the follow prizes as your reward.

Rewards

1. Lead an away team (you will need to commit to being active for this)
2. Pick the next shore leave theme and all members will have to follow it.
3. Be Acting Captain at some point during the next mission
4. Do anything you want to Captain Harrington without in game repercussions. *
5. Do anything you want to Commander Neydani without in game repercussions. *
6. Help develop a mission built around your character (you will need to commit to being active for this)

* Cannot be sexual in nature, sorry!

As Kai and I both serve on the Command Staff we have opted to disqualify ourselves in winning. This contest is for the crew; you as players. It would not be fair to give ourselves the reward. We can however be involved in any JP you wish, so don’t count us out as participants.

In the event of a tie, the winning player will be determined by the player who interacted with the most crew. If the tie is still in effect after this, then both players will win.

Remember this important detail HAVE FUN and Happy Posting to all,

Jakers and Kai
