3rd Annual Simm Contest

Hay Deep Spacers,

Well as the title states, we are having our third annual contest. Our first was a JP Contest, our second another JP contest but with our third I am doing something different. (grins) Very different.

Recently there has been a lot of talk within our chat programs about missions, and several of you have dropped hints that you have wicked ideas for our simm… and well I wanna see these ideas. So, from that idea came our Third Annual Not-a-Joint Post Contest, this time is it going to be a “Develop A Mission” Contest.

This contest will start tomorrow, June 4th and will end on the morning of July 4th.

The rules for the contest are as follows:

1) The Mission must be a comedy; something light-hearted, entertaining, and fun! We’ve had too many serious missions so something different would be nice.
2) Your Mission must be built around the title, "In All the Wrong Places". This is the only “point” I will require about your mission.
3) Only one submission per player. Now you may work in teams, groups, or solo but once your group idea is submitted that will be the only thing you can send in.
4) As the missions will be judged by the CO and XO, the CO and XO are disqualified from submitting a mission.
5) Your mission needs to include something for each Department.
6) No genre bending, lets keep it Trek so we don't confuse people.

Ok so that is it for the rules, I wanted to leave it wide open for your creative talents to flow. This leads us to the rewards...

Rewards
1) Lead an away team (you will need to commit to being active for this)
2) Pick the next shore leave theme and all members will have to follow it.
3) Be Acting Captain at some point during the next mission
4) Do anything you want to Captain Harrington without in game repercussions. *
5) Do anything you want to Commander Ch'Arath without in game repercussions. *

* Cannot be sexual in nature, sorry!

So, I hope this is a popular contest, our last two were wildly successful. I know this is different but I am dying to know what you the players have up your sleeves. We have a lot of talented, slightly wicked players and I am curious to see what you develop.

Once developed please send your submission to me and I will forward them to the XO. We will announce the winner in the second week of July.
