Contest Winner

Posted on 07/13/2017 @ 6:49pm by Captain Cornelius Harrington

Hay Deep Spacers,

My apologies this took so long in getting out to you all. But with the quality of submissions presented I wanted to ensure that the proper winner was crowned.

And I must say that you all are very ..... twisted. There were some terrific missions developed and created by this crew. However only one person can win; so after presenting your works to my panel of 4 victims (Judges) I am pleased to announce this year's winner of the 3rd Annual Contest ...

WINNERS: Lieutenant JG Asami Inoue and Lieutenant Rynn Aemiq (Alex and Kai)

Their mission was wonderfully crafted and presented a lot of opportunities for the crew not only in the mission itself but also in some amazing ideas for character development and interaction with your fellow crew members.

The titled of their mission is In All The Wrong Places and a brief description:

Summary: After hearing news of a new species that has just achieved warp capabilities, the Roanoke is sent on every crew’s most anticipated and exciting kind of mission-- First Contact. After a successful meeting with the Aeryans, the crew has a chance to mingle and get to know more about the uniquely telepathic species. The crew is invited to a traditional meal while the Aeryans celebrate the festival of Vael'opua (Veil-ohp-OO-ah), which marks the start of a transition to major technological development, among several other things. After the meal, however, the crew soon finds themselves in an odd predicament-- they have started switching bodies! Can the crew get to the bottom of the rather odd situation, and how does the story told at the celebration connect to a probe that was picked up by sensors?

I will work on getting this into the site as there is so much more to this mission then just what is in the summary. As we get closer to the start of this mission the Command Team will be sending out more details to help everyone get prepped for the big... switch?

But, congrats to both Alex and Kai for their hard work and twisted ideas. Great job to both of you.

Jakers
