Awards June 2020

Posted on 06/30/2020 @ 7:02pm by Captain Cornelius Harrington

Well, this month I saw a stellar amount of nominations for awards given by you the crew to your fellow members. I am seriously impressed. So after a careful review, I pleased to give you the following awards. Congrats to everyone who received an award this month.

Lt Commander Reynolds - Captain's Personal Merit

Awarded by Captain Patton on behalf of the Command Team

"In all the many years that I have been simming I have rarely come across a Counselor who actually wants to write counseling posts. Recently I had the pleasure of delving into my character's psyche in what I hope to be the first of series of posts with the good Counselor. I believe that when you use your character to assist others in exploring their character, you have reached the highest level of simming. Liam is always a pleasure to write with, and I look forward to seeing what he can get out of Jack's head. Really great stuff!"

A'Koja Dea - Meritorious Newcomer of the Month Award

"As the local PI she has created a whole new niche for herself on the Station in a short time." by Lieutenant Hiro Yoshida

"They joined Poseidon and hit the station running. It is a pleasure getting to know this character as they explore life on the station and in the White Stag. I am looking forward to seeing what they cook up for us next." by Marine Captain Jack Patton

"This player wasn't afraid to jump right into an established game, feet first and get involved. It's been a wonderful breath of fresh air to see someone new join a game and in such an interesting role as a Civilian. Dea is blending the role into something different and new, and her character is a great addition to the game" by Neil Harrington

Lieutenant Commander Liam Reynolds - Day To Day Life

"After the 'Stuff of Nightmares' mission a lot of characters suffered from psychological trauma to some degree. Some more than others. That kept our dear Counselor quite busy, having a lot of sessions with crew members in his office. Good posts." by Lieutenant Hiro Yoshida

Lieutenant Commander Sara'draphia T'eseri - Day To Day Life

"After the last mission, many of us needed to see the good Doctor. Some nice posts in Sickbay followed from that." by Lieutenant Hiro Yoshida

Lieutenant Hiro Yoshida - Library Excellence Ribbon

"The former newspaper editor in me makes it hard for me to chose someone to nominate for this award. However, Hiro lives up to a standard that I wished some of my news writers lived up to. Their posts are a joy to read, and when the mechanics of the writings are so perfect, it makes it easy to follow the story and really enjoy it." by Marine Captain Jack Patton

Lieutenant Commander Liam Reynolds - You Got This

"We would like to nominate Liam Reynolds for this award. His contributions to the Nightmare mission both during and in the aftermath was undeniable. He really stepped up his counseling game in that mission. Bravo!" on behalf of the Command Team

Lieutenant JG Aer Feshau - Table For Two

"Having only joined 1 month ago and to have produced 18 posts is nothing short of spectacular. The posts written have been enjoyable to read and I look forward to many more. Here's to the next 18!" Lieutenant JG Aer Feshau

"The player in question has been a prolific writer ever since she joined the sim, and in my eyes the character of A'Koja Dea makes Poseidon Station feel more like a 'real' station, similar to DS9." by Lieutenant Hiro Yoshida
