Hay Deep Spacers,

I want to try an experiment, a contest if you will, to have a little fun amongst the staff here on the station. So I put my thinking cap on and really have been working on ideas and suggestions that might play into this idea. After much internal debate I came up with a plan. Going off last month's success and activity we are going to have a Joint Post Contest.

So starting Sept. 13 and ending on Oct. 13 the player involved in the most JPs will win; sound simple enough right? But wait there are some rules:

Rules
1. Player must be actively involved in the entire JP, one or two lines won’t count.
2. The JPs must be approx. 1500 word count in length.
3. No more than 3 JPs with any one character; so for example if you do 20 JPs with the same character only 3 will count.

I will keep track of the points and announce the winner on Oct 14th. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by whoever best used rule 3. So get out there an meet your fellow crew members.

For the winning crew member you will get to select one of the following.

Rewards
1. Lead an away team (you will need to commit to being active for this)
2. Pick the next shore leave theme.
3. Be Acting Captain at some point during the next mission
4. Do anything you want to Captain Harrington * without in game repercussions!
5. Do anything you want to Commander Westbrooks * without in game repercussions!
6. Help develop a mission built around your character (you will need to commit to being active for this)

* Can not be sexual in nature, sorry.

As a side note, I can not win, this is for you the crew. My character and NPCs can be involved in any JP and those will count for you, but I personally can't win. Just seems more fair that way.
