General Overview		Adam is a ruthless and selfish man, things he takes pride in. He considers himself loyal, however earning his loyalty is near impossible. This far, only his son has his loyalty. He likes controlling his life, and balks at any one trying to take that control from him. Control of his life includes controlling those in it.

History

Personal History

Adam was born on Terra to loyalist parent's. He was never comfortable with their determination to serve the Terran Empire. He bucked against the rules from the moment he could walk and his parents could never convince him to settle down and follow the rules. They tried, but soon his rebellious tendencies caught the notice of the authorities. At age 8 he was forcibly removed from his parents and placed in an educational camp. This did not endear him to the Empire, however he did learn to temper his rage and engage his charming side to take advantage of those around him. He was stuck in the camps until he was 16 when he was released. In the meantime his parents were both killed In a rebel attack. He took a job as a demolitionist in a private company, avoiding working for the empire. As he grew older he struggled with keeping a job, he could get any job he wanted, but keeping it was a problem. He was too angry, too rebellious, and eventually had to move on. He bounced around planet to planet, building his skills as well as a list of enemies and lovers left behind. He grew callus and hateful, until he met a pretty journalist, named Adira. She was tough, smart, and passionate, and she didn't fall for him instantly. He became driven to possess her. He focused on his job, focused on winning her. After nearly a year he won her heart and married her quickly. One of her flaws was that she was a loyalist, like his parents. He insisted she learn the truth of the evils of the Terren Empire. She began to do just that, and soon began to sympathize with the Rebellion, which was far more dangerous than his quiet indifference. He didn't like her investment in writing rebellious articles, he wanted her to shift to a quieter life, focus on their coming son. He tried changing jobs, moving her around to separate her from connection's. She was determined though to tear down the empire. The passion he once found so endearing in her turned him sour. Nothing worked, his charm, and aggression could not convince her. Eventually he came up with a plan, he connected with some friend's and planned a false death for him and Jonus, something he knew would break her will. He wanted to punish her for not listening and teach her a massive lesson. He would give her time to wallow in pain before he would take her back and reveal he was alive. His friends pulled off the plan perfect, leaving burnt bodies in place for her to find. After letting her mellow for a time he knew it was time to return and retrieve her. THeir son wanted her and their son was everything to Adam. He found her living with another man, pregnant with his spawn. Sickened and angry he was ready to kill the other man and force Adiras will to break. He quickly found her new situation was even more parlous, she had new enemies and powerful ones. They were coming for her. He held back and watched, waiting for his moment. The Empire and the Rebels came after her, killing her new family. Just as he planned to swoop in and rescue her she disappeared. Adam could find no record of Adira and as much as it angered him to not be able to find and possess her, he had Jonus to care for. He returned to his mercenary work, gaining friends and even a small crew for his own little ship, which Jonus insisted on calling the Addy Grace. Not long after getting the ship he was hired by a small group of fanatic's to help extract someone from the Emporer. The chance to get paid a lot of money and bloody the Empires nose was too good to pass up. When he ended up with who was the thought to be dead Empress. Resisting the urge to kill the woman he spotted a new opportunity. He got close to her, learned who she really was. She had a vision and Adam found it tantalizing, the chance to go against the empire and the rebellion was too good to pass up. It also seemed that the woman had information that was important to Adam. His missing wife was alive, but out of reach, but plans would correct that. Adam served this former empress, although he was not a fanatical follower like many people who joined her 'Renegades'. Over time the fanatical attitude irritated him, but she trusted him and he used it. He showed himself to be ruthless, and when they discovered a way to get to the prime universe Adam was read to act. While this so called second coming of the empress was giving birth to her child he enacted a coup. He quietly moved the woman to a a place he could keep her captive, and he moved her child somewhere else to be raised by his order. With this move, he was able to show the fanatic's that their beloved empress was alive and 'well' and he was acting upon her orders. The more pirate minded members for the Renegades followed him, continuing on with the promises of wealth and plunder, began by the false empress. Adam holds a firm control of the Renegades and is intent on helping to stabilize a hole in to the prime universe and expand his control, wealth, power, and to regain the run away member of his family.
