Physical Description		Brianthe has the slim, lithe figure of a dancer. While she does wear a Starfleet uniform when necessary, she prefers to dress in clothes more suited to working with plants and trees. She is fond of dresses when she is not working. When she does wear dresses, she prefers the longer, flowing skirts and blouses to the shorter, more modern styles.

General Overview		Brianthe loves nature and all that it entails. SHe loves the smell of rain and the feel of thick loam. She is often found around trees, especially in the moonlight.

Weaknesses: Sometimes values nature over humans as it has been around longer. She is a sensualist. She loves scents, sounds, tastes, textures. While this is a good thing, it can also be a bad one. She is a dreamer. She will sometimes stare off into space and let her thoughts wander where they will.

History

Personal History		Brianthe grew up on a small colony on Solaria III where she spent much of her time outdoors. From her youth, she could hear the trees whisper to each other. She wasn't sure what they said, but she was sure if was some sort of language. Her parents thought she was crazy, but the doctors all said she was fine. Her father was a woodcarver and cobbler. He worked with other family members in a small community outside the main colony. They were distantly related to the gypsies and liked the idea of recreating the lifestyle. Her mother and her aunts made potions and poltices from the herbs in the woods. The girls between fifteen and twenty-four were taught to sing and dance as entertainment. People would come out, especially on the weekends, to see a performance, drink, gamble, and buy jewelery and trinkets from some of the vendors. Brianthe was taught herb lore and how to entertain, especially how to get a man's interest. Her aunts said it was good for business. If she wanted to do more, it was up to her, but she was supposed to sing, dance, and flirt. She didn't like it. She liked singing and dancing, but she didn't like flirting, and she refused to accept any of the many invitations she received from men. Brianthe spent more time in the woods, learning about the various plants and their medicinal properties. She'd go on the family computer to learn more, extending her knowledge to other worlds. wasn't comfortable with her "role" in the family and began to learn about She learned how to take care of the plants and what their other uses were. When she was old enough, she left the colony to study about other worlds and their plants. It wasn't until she interacted with other species that she realized she was an empath. She mostly hears plants, but she can also feel the emotions of humanoids and occasionally pick up on strong surface thoughts. She can only speak telepathically with other telepaths. After spending a few years traveling, she ended up on Earth, where she joined Starfleet so she could travel and continue learning. She spends most of her time in the arboretum and hydroponics areas, talking to the plants and trees and keeping them healthy. While she is a scientist and can do general science, she prefers botany and horticulture and being around plants. Sometimes, she can be found late at night walking barefoot through the rich earth of the arboretum, singing to the trees.
