Physical Description		Jeksyne is a broad built Marine from years of endurance training, and the need to continually improve himself. Whether in peak physical condition or in education in pursuit of the mission. He keeps his hair in a high and tight regulation hair style. He has a scar across his left eye from combat with the Tzenkethi.

General Overview		A marine of physical prowess and education, Jeksyne Vale is a dedicated Marine, loyal to a fault, much to the detriment of a personal life, to which he has none. Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths: Peak Physical Fitness - Jeksyne has trained his body to be in top physical strength and form. Combat Training - In addition to standard combat and weapons training, Jeksyne has been trained in the use and operation of Designated Marksman Weaponry as a Scout-Sniper and Critical Skills Operator. In addition to EVA Combat and Orbital Air Assault training. Book Smarts - Jeksyne holds a Masters Degree in Military Science and comparative literature specifically Xenoliteratures and cultures, reading literature and art from other cultures as they provide a window into others that can be used to influence events and people. Understanding of Cultures can lead to better mission outcomes when brute force may not be the best choice for a situation. Weakness: Cold and Detached: Through what is believed to be a psychological response to past trauma, Jeksyne can be cold to others. Interpersonal relationships at times can be difficult for Jeksyne to process and this has led him to further take solo assignments and combat missions that allow him to zero in on his objectives. It has been suggested that was due to an incident at 16-17 where it is believed that his father attempted physical violence to “beat or pray” the gay out of his son which led to Jeskyne building walls around himself. Traumatic Childhood: Jeksyne grew up the scorn of an overbearing father who did not tolerate any weakness or failures from his children. Jeksyne was believed to be the target of the brunt of his father’s over dominating ways to the point where his father disowned him when he found his son making out with a classmate. It is believed that his father at that point attempted to “beat” the gay out of his son. No report by Jeksyne was ever made to Starfleet or Federation Law Enforcement and when Jeksyne joined the Marines, he requested that no further inquiries were to be made on the subject in an attempt to put the past behind him.

History

Personal History		Born on Memory Alpha in 2356 to historians Darvin and Carissa Vale, Jeksyne along with his brothers, Jeksenri and Jaysyne, were raised on the research station, surrounded by the wonders of history and the majesty of space. Jeksyne and Jaysyne are twins, born five minutes apart. Both enjoyed more physical pursuits as opposed to their brother, Jeksenri, who followed in their parents footsteps and became a historian. Jeksyne grew up loving to exercise, read and develop practical skills using his hands. Memory Alpha, having the largest library in the Federation, allowed Jeksyne and his brother to broaden their skills, through education, physical exercise. The vast halls of Memory Alpha were wondrous places to get lost and at times, the maze-like corridors of books and artifacts made for exciting adventures, even if it was into their own imaginations. For Jeksyne personally, this was also an escape from a father who, for lack of better terms, on the inside, was a cruel monster. Some base human tendencies die hard and when Jeksyne was found making out with one of his male classmates by his father, Jeksyne became isolated and distant, though it is believed that Dr. Darvin Vale had been physically and mentally abusive which drove Jeksyne into the arms of the first service that would accept him at 17, the Starfleet Marine Corps. Jeksyne applied to the Starfleet Marines Corps and was inducted at Logan City, Terra Nova Colony. Spending 16 weeks training in basic, he excelled in his new normal, training like his life depended on (and sometimes did). He graduated from INDOC with high honors after a further tour of Advanced Training at the School of Infantry before his first deployment to the Outer Frontiers of the Beta Quadrant. He was picked out to become a Force Recon Marine, after a successful tour of duty to which he aided in the defense of refugees fleeing from Rebel Cardassians. He’s been deployed to hot spots across the Federation as a Staff Sergeant of the Marines, taking high risk assignments across Cardassian and Tzenkethi Space during the Tzenkethi conflicts of the 2380’s. In 2385 he was assigned to the elite Starfleet Marines Special Operations Command as a Marine Raider, a Tier One Unit in Starfleet Marines for his actions in leadership, saving several of his command from renegade Cardassian rebels. During intense fighting during a mission responding to a distress call from a Cardassian Government Facility, Jeksyne was ambushed by True Way rebels, luring ships into traps. Pinned down under heavy fire, Jeksyne pulled several wounded officers to safety before stunning the remaining rebels and taking them into custody. For this he was invited to Special Forces, being selected to attend OCS at Annapolis year at Jupiter Station at the General Josiah McEntyre Memorial Special Warfare Center at Tarkin Ridge, Proxima Colony, as a Force Recon Scout/Sniper and Orbital Airborne Officer. As of 2397 he has been commissioned a First Lieutenant and assigned to SB-50 "Poseidon" as Special Operations Officer.
