Cara's office was decorated with a mixture of cherry wood and cedar paneling on the lower section, above the walls are colored a pale green. Covering the floor is a thick plush forest green carpeting. On the right side of the wall near the door is a large holographic mural the pictures are interchangeable and is framed with dark cherry wood. This only covers the upper half of the wall beneath it is a small bench which has several potted plants on it.

Over the window looking out in space is a brass and wood curtain rod. Upon the rod the thick velvet curtains hang which match the carpeting. These can be drawn over the window to provide a more cozy atmosphere if the counselor so chooses. The couch underneath the window is a nice rich dark brown with dark green accent throw pillows.

In order to help the room flow Cara opted for two small black half circular tables placed near each end of the couch against the wall. These can be brought together in case a larger work area is needed.

On the left side two chairs are placed both made of cherry wood with dark green cushions. They are on set either side of a wooden bookcase which is filled with books of the counselor's own personal collection. The books are various ranging from poetry, gardening, Shakespeare, classic books to that of aromatherapy and acupressure. The bookcase is only three foot in height on top of it is a small tranquility fountain with water cascading down in a miniature waterfall. Near it on the left is a miniature bonsai tree; on the right is a decorative black lacquered metal container which holds scented oils used in aromatherapy.

Across from the door is the Counselor's desk made of the same cherry wood as the paneling. Not wanting to have any of the sterile computer screens and panels show, the option for having holographic screens appear on her desk has been used. The Counselor's chair which is very comfortable made of matching cherry wood and forest green cushioning.

Behind the desk is a tall cabinet made of cherry wood, which hides the replicator and holds her herbal teas, plus some of her own goodies. There are various other items stored that are felt vital to make things better. On the left of the cabinet is an orchid plant in a nice black pot, on the right of the cabinet is a hanging pot filled with a variety of herbs.
