Hay Deep Spacers,

Well if you read the title of this news article, you are probably confused. But It’s another contest. However unlike previous contests we are going to do an “OOC Related Contest” this time.

So it’s a “Meme Contest”.

What is a meme contest? Well I am glad you asked, let me explain.

Players of the simm will be able to use any character’s images, and create their own meme. You are free to use any program you’d like you are also free to use any online program such as https://memegenerator.net/. Once your meme has been created you will then email the meme directly to me. I will upload all meme’s into an online survey. Then you the crew will select the winner from the submitted memes.

Of course like any contest there are a few rules…

1) You must use an image that is on the site, for the character you selected.
2) You can only submit 2 (two) memes, once your two have been submitted, all other memes will be ignored.
3) You must have your meme submitted to me by end of day on the 3rd of September to be included in the contest.
4) Your meme must include a quote or thought from the character you have selected. Quotes/Thoughts can be taken from any of their posts. When you email the meme to me, please include a link to the post referenced in the meme.
5) All meme must remain anonymous until after the contest, this way voting can’t be influenced. Which is why they are being emailed directly to me.
6) All meme’s will be uploaded to Google Forms, and a Survey will be announced on the 5th of September. The Survey will end on the 11th of September and the winner will be announced on the 12th.

Now for the rewards, they are as follows:

1) Lead an away team (you will need to commit to being active for this)
2) Pick the next shore leave theme and all members will have to follow it.
3) Be Acting Captain at some point during the next mission
4) Do anything you want to Captain Harrington, without in game repercussions. *
5) Do anything you want to Commander Neydani, without in game repercussions. *
6) Do anything you want to Commander Markell, without in game repercussions. *
7) Help develop a mission built around your character (you will need to commit to being active for this)

* Cannot be sexual in nature, sorry!
