Time to say goodbye

Hello everyone,

Some of you may hear about this before I send this out but I will be leaving Roanoke. I've had a good run on this sim going all the way back to when it was DS7 only a few months out of the gate. I think besides Jake himself and maybe Alex I'm the last one left from those times. I will miss writing with you all. The game has changed a lot since I first started as have I, developing as a writer and as a member of the community; going through multiple characters and taking on new roles. This was the first sim I took on an admin position on and I give it credit for giving me the confidence to eventually run my own sim. For that I will always be thankful.

The evolution of DS7 to Roanoke and now to Nogura isn't something that's always sat well with me, that's no secret but I've always tried to make it work. But it's become clear to me now that I no longer fit in around here. Before I leave I do want to say to my fellow writers that I heard at times that I apparently seemed to create a barrier in writing with not just myself but some of the veteran writers here. If that is the case with any of you I am sorry for that. I never meant to create the perception that I wasn't always welcome to write or chat or develop characters with any of you. While we won't be able to do so here anymore I hope I get a chance to really write with you folks in the future, whether it is here or on my sim or one of yours.

This is not why I'm leaving, it was definitely something that weighed on me and I'd hoped to be able to fix in the coming months as we made this transition I'd worked so hard on. However, issues between myself and the rest of the command team came to a head and the decision was made. I am sorry to go, you're an amazing group of writers.
