4th Annual Joint Post Contest

Attention Minions,

Well considering the outcome of the recent poll, and how much fun this was in the past, I have decided to hold the Simm’s Fourth Annual Joint Post Contest. What follows is the same guidelines as before just refreshed or changed for current time and crew. There are some differences for the older crew members, make sure you read the following carefully.

This contest will start May 1st, and will go to the end of May. Sounds easy, well as always there are a few rules you must follow in order to win. So, let’s get that part over with.

Rules

1. The Player must be actively involved in the JP; one or two lines won’t count. We also will not count Staff Briefings as these are required posts.
2. Most of the JPs posted must be Mission/Main Plot Related; while character development is great I’d like to see some drive to the mission once we reach the planet. There is so many possibilities.
3. The JPs must be of a significant word count in length, no 3 paragraph JPs, this is suppose to be a contest afterall.
4. The Player must have attempted to do a Joint Post with every member of the game, the point of this is to get out and interact with everyone on the simm. Doing 20 JPs with only one player, is great, but spread the wealth a little, please.
5. The Player can use any main character, or NPC as there will be crew also on the ship you can play with (Assistant Chiefs, etc)

I will keep track of the points and announce the winner at the end of the contest. For the winning crew member, you will get to select one of the following prizes as your reward.

Rewards

1. Pick the next shore leave theme and all members will have to follow it.
2. Be Acting Captain at some point during the next mission, not for the mission just during the mission
3. Do anything you want to Commodore Harrington without in game repercussions. *
4. Do anything you want to Commander Valentine without in game repercussions. *
5. Help develop a mission built around your character (you will need to commit to being active for this).

* Cannot be sexual in nature, sorry!

This year I am doing away with the “no command staff” rule, this is open to all players! In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by who interacted with a majority of the crew.
