I wanted to give a shout out to Patton. In an award in the past you had stated some very lovely things about me, however I don't know if you, Howie realize that you had that creative chemistry that drew me in and I wanted to partake in it and see what would happen. There was just something about you that called to me, just to explore the characters that you write. I consider you a friend and am glad to have wandered into the realms of Poseidon Station. Many thanks for being a part of this community, for being so welcoming for sparking even more ideas and creativity in me. And also thank you for your dedication to the sim and the community. -Cara Letsul

The investigation into the explosions and what happened with Hiro was truly a wonderful read. It is a rare pleasure for me to see a Security Chief who enjoys writing police work. With Samson on the case there can't be much crime left on Poseidon.

Patton is an enjoyable writer and an in-depth mission organizer. He has been a deep part of the game for a while and is great at driving the story. He had been central in developing an exciting arch of the game, which had played a pivotal role in drawing in new players, and getting the whole crew excited to log in every day. ~Adira

Howie is himself an inspiration to others, not only to myself. What he brings to the game cannot be measured in words but in his contribution to the overall community, he is a part of. I have known him for years and he welcomed me back into writing and I haven't looked back since. His imagination and enthusiasm are infectious and his knowledge of Star Trek itself is almost on a par with his Scottish accent, almost. He is a superb man, someone I consider a good friend as he encourages all those around him to keep the world we write in alive with ideas, little nudges if need be, and his personality that makes me know I can go to him with anything. He is warm, caring and his love for a kilt knows no bounds. His contribution, time, and effort make him indispensable, and I consider myself quite lucky to be able to write with him on many projects. ~Aer

Howie, what can I say. He is a very creative individual and I've enjoyed working with him. He enticed me into bringing in Brina as his Marine XO. It felt good to bring her into play and was great fun. Now I get to be on the command team with him and I am even more amazed than before. He is someone which ideas can be bounced off of. He has a great love for writing and it shows. He is definitely a dynamic individual and approachable. I can even call him a friend. He works well with Jaker's and I like it. ~Cara

It's hard to imagine this game without the dedication and energy that Howie brings to the game. He is a passionate force and one of the most creative individuals I have met within the RPG world. When I joined I had severe reservations about Marines, in fact, I hated Star Trek Marines. However, Howie in his day-to-day playing of Lt Col Patton has slowly changed my mind on marines in Star Trek. As a member of the command staff, Howie has grown into someone that I consider a friend. I trust his opinion and have learned to listen to him (sometimes). Thanks for all you do my friend, keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see what 2022 brings ~Harrington

Captain Cara Letsul

Cara has been instrumental in the life pulse of the game. She fully engages every player in the chat rooms as well as in storylines. She ties together loose ends and keeps track of mission status. There have been times where she sought out additional players to help a struggling department for a post while ensuring those struggling do not feel stepped on. She offers meaningful advice to the command team, which has proven invaluable when important choices are set before them. Without Cara, the game would not thrive as it has. ~Adira

Cynthia has only been with us for a short time but it feels like she has been with us for years. I love how she plots and schemes, and ends up throwing ideas at me like confetti at a wedding! Over these short few months I have valued her greatly here on Poseidon and I feel like we have become such good friends as a result. I always know I can talk to her about anything and I usually get a sensible answer hehe. Cynthia screams enthusiasm, love for the game, and her imagination knows no bounds. We would definitely be at a loss without her and I hope she stays with us for many years to come. We can only get madder. ~Aer

Cara came in like a wind from the East sweeping by. She knocked us for a loop in a good way. Cara has a knack for making you really delve into the heads of a character and flesh them out. She is never one to back away from an idea. First as my XO in the Marines and then later as a member of the command team, I have found Cara to be a vital asset and dare I say, friend. She is more than a simmer, she is a storyteller and a world builder. I am a better simmer and writer for knowing her. I look forward to what surprises she has in store for us all as the next year dawns. ~Patton

It's hard to imagine Poseidon Station without a Cynthia in the game. While only being with us for a short time, compared to some, she had found a way to blend her heart, soul, passion, and drive into every facet of this game. Someone once said, "Creativity doesn't wait for that perfect moment. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones." I think this fits our dear sweet Cynthia. She doesn't wait for a story to come to her, she finds moments within the game and weaves this world out of thin air. She has truly become a pillar in our community and I couldn't imagine running this run without her. ~Harrington
