| Description | The planet Aquil is a gorgeous planet of over 95% water, its ocean waters appearing to glisten even from orbit. To take advantage of this magnificent view, two of the planetside cargo bays were converted into a large viewing deck. Offering constant, sweeping views of the planet below twenty-seven hours a day, the Observation Deck is a very popular destination for many of the station's Officers and crew. The deck features large windows, a seating area, a small café and constant view of the environment and planet below. The area has also become a popular destination for parties, the large open area often being rented out for an event. There are restrictions to times and number of events that can be scheduled at and during a given time. This provision was set up to ensure that the Observation Deck remains a relaxed and publicly open area where rank is not needed. |
