| Description | With it's recent opening and it's location in orbit of the planet Aquil, Starbase 50 takes on far more traffic than most stations of its size. Because of this, shuttle and docking bays of various sizes dot the exterior of the station. Each of these bays is designed to accept a specific type of craft, although the majority are slated for Civilian Freighters. Several types: 1) Starfleet Shuttle 2) Starfleet Freighter 3) Civilian Shuttle 4) Civilian Freighter 5) Civilian General 6) Private Permanent Because of the large number of ships passing through the station on any given day, a separate center was needed for Civilian vs Federation traffic. The Commercial Passenger Terminal is part waiting area, part admin center and all business, all the times. Constantly in use there are always people moving in and out of the Civilian Terminal |
