Mission: Mission 21: The Trouble with Technology
Location: Throneroom

That intruder that popped into the Throneroom and then popped back out really bugged Brina. It had been so sudden. She had called Major Patton when it happened. And now she was waiting for his response. To her, it was a matter of security for the station on a whole, and for a transport into their area then popped out, definitely a breach of security.

Patton had been at Station Ops when Brina called. It seemed that there was a number of technical issues affecting the station and as Strategic Operations Officer Jack had to make sure that these issues did not spread to the ships docked at the station or worse. He tapped his comm badge and acknowledged the summons. Moments later he strode into the throneroom. The Kingsmen mustered to attention under Meatball's order. "Officer on Deck!" the First Sergeant called. There was a brief commotion as everyone came to attention. Jack stood in front of Brina and smiled. "Songbird I hope this song is good. You took me from some important fleet issues. But I am glad to be in Throneroom. So... Report!" He made sure the order or report indicated a shift back to official business.

Brina saluted, then made her report. "Major, whilst I was giving the troops instructions for the day, a female of an unknown species appeared in the midst of us, clad in nothing but a towel. Tried to ascertain whom she was, when she all at once was transported away. I feel that this occurrence was a breach in our security and is a matter of concern, hence my call to you."

Jack returned the salute. "You were right to call me down. There have been mechanical issues all over the station. However, if they are now effecting the Throneroom. Someone could get access to ordinance or worse the MARVEL EAS. That said, its all hands on deck. Lets work the problem people."

Anthony had been doing some PT with his own squad when he had heard of some commotion in the Throneroom. He wore a simple tank top and shorts and had placed his skipping rope down as he decided to pop his head in to see what was going on. As he did he just caught what Brina had said. "Did you catch any identifying marks Captain?" he asked as he dabbed the back of his neck with a small towel, he had been working himself quite hard before.

"I can do one better." Brina retrieved some paper and a pencil, sketching out the woman who appeared. "5'10" Approximately 160 pounds. Purple hued skin with cottony downy looking fur or fluff? And clad in a rather large white beach towel."

Kaia, who was still attempting to get the lay of the land approached the impromptu meeting, "from what I understand the station has been plagued with a series of malfunctions, due to nanites," she looked puzzled. "Are we certain this was a security issue, or a random victim of these nanites causing trouble? Sir." She looked at the group, "I'm not aware of any purple skinned furry beings currently on the station." She always seemed to have a knack for saying things rather abruptly, she wasn't one to beat around the bush.

"Given what's been happening here, it's quite possible this poor person is stuck with in the transport," she added, "Ma'am."

"Well, that wouldn't be good either." Brina remarked looking at Kaia then looked at Patton. "It's your call, Major."

"Lets cover our bases... Run the description through the database and see if it returns any hits. Lets pan out around the station, soft incursion. I do not want to set off any alarms. However, if this is a security breach we need to seal it and find out who they are, who they work for, and what they know. On the other hand if Devil Doc is right then this poor lady could be bouncing all over the station and needs some help getting home." Jack thought that they were in quite the conundrum. He really did not want to add to the confusion on the station however, this merited some investigation.

Brina nodded and looked at the others, then back to Blackjack "I certainly agree with you on that. Either way it does need attention. When shall we start? "

"Immediately... I will remain in the Throneroom as Ops" Jack said as he sat down at the main console. "Shouldn't take too long to get to the heart of this. Besides it is going to be nice to show Samson up." He winked and smirked.

Brina quirked up an eyebrow at this. "Erm, who is this Samson you're speaking of?" taking an interest in Patton's demeanor. "I take it a bit of a rivalry?"

"Oh I think the security team have their hands full at the moment chasing tiny nanites around at the moment. I think we have this one." Anthony said with a cheeky wink and smirk.

Brina laughed, "okay, true they are having their hands full there. " She scanned the image for it to be placed in the database, and sent it to Patton to the Main Console. She had added some color to it for further identification. "Okay, you should have it now." she stated to the Major.

Jack glanced up at the screen above the conference table that he affectionately called the round table. It began showing the feeds from the team's readouts. The mission clock had already begun. "I have it now Songbird. Off you lot... I have informed the Captain that Operation Blue Jay has begun."

Brina nodded, "Alright, we've got our orders, let's ask people if they have seen sightings of this woman, maybe hear something on the rumor mill that sort of thing. You all now have the information. Let's get moving. " standing up to head off to leave for the main station.

"I'll look into the systems logs, the ones that are not a mess just now. See if I can pinpoint any pattern to the mystery woman's transporting. If all else fails I'm requisitioning Sparks and we will blow stuff up." he joked as his mind drifted to the woman he'd met at his formal initiation.

Brina flashed a bit of look at Hill, "Hmnnn keeping to your Callsign, eh Spitfire?" then giving a shake of her head. " We only burn down the house if it is needed but until then, nope not going to be a hot time in town tonight." she quipped. "Okay keep us updated." she looked at the others, "Schiano, Li, you're with me." Brina paused and looked at Spitfire.

"I do recall the woman saying she was trying to get back to her quarters. Maybe that will help to, narrow the search parameters? She also was finishing up someone's name, an... Am Reynolds? Do any of you know anyone with that sort of name?"

Meatball had just finished stowing his SAR gear and he hefted the bag onto his back. You didn't get to be First Sergeant without predicting what those above you would want. "You heard the lady... Bug out and find somethin blue. Maybe a Bolian?" He tossed the last out as both a question and a suggestion.

When Brina mentioned what she said something clicked it Patton's head. "That could have been Liam Reynolds... Lieutenant Commander Reynolds that is. The station's Chief Counselor, he may be the first stop if this being was calling his name."

"Then that is our first stop." Brina stated, "Okay we have our first objective, Lieutenant Commander Reynolds. Wonder why said individual is wanting him." she mused.
