Timeline: After the bomb

ON

Brina had gotten up from the cell bed, and was pacing up and down like a caged lioness. She was feeing uneasy, a feeling of impending something. She didn't know what it was as of yet. It was like an itch you needed to scratch but your hands are tied and that irritating itch on the nose won't go away. And that is how Brina was feeling. Jack hadn't been back to talk to her, no one has. Everything was quiet, too quiet like the silence of a tomb. "Hey anyone out there?" Brina shouted.

When the news of what happened at Elysian Dreams reached the First Sergeant he knew that he had two jobs. The first was to delegate the rescue to the rest of the team and the other was to get Brina. The delegation was a bit of irony considering Robert's specialty was search and rescue and EVAC. But heavy is the head that wore the crown. He grabbed a phaser rifle as he wasn't sure if her would need it and headed down to the Brig.

As Schiano made his way to the Brig he noticed that no one paid too much attention to a Marine moving about the station armed. This worked to his advantage. As he arrived at the Brig he heard Brina shout and smirked as he walked up to the Brig Officer. "Hey... How ya doin? Youze never saw me, I was never here. Youze got dat."

The young man attending the Brig stood his ground for a moment against the Marine. "I have orders Sarge no one gets to se..." Schiano cut him off. "Youze know nuttin..." He took a step toward the Ensign for intimidation sake. It seemed to have worked as the Ensign turned his head and Schiano was able to get through. He jogged down the corridor of cells past the petty thieves, and others. At the end he saw Brina pacing like a caged lioness.

"Oy! Songbird all penned up in her cage I see." Schiano smiled as he squared toward the cell forcefield.

"You are a sight for sore eyes, Meatball!" Brina exclaimed. "I feel something's wrong, something terribly wrong. Where's BlackJack?"

Robert whistled. "Where do I start? Everything that is happening is the reason that I am here. There was another explosion. This one was during Jack's Bachelor Party. He's in Sick Bay alive but unconscious. Spitfire was injured as well. That left me in command. I am a soldier not an administrator..." His voice trailed off as he wondered what exactly he was going to do.

"Wait what? Jack's injured, so is Spitfire? You've got to get me out of here. I knew something was wrong. And I've been here for more than a day or so? I thought nothing of it as Jack was pissed. Get me out, I feel we are in a war and I need to be out there! If I had something to blast me out of here I would utilize it." her green eyes were snapping with fire. "Meatball, do something get that ensign to open up the cell, we have an emergency!" Brina was fuming!

She was right and Robert knew it, besides he hated being in command. It was the reason that he came here to begin with. He leveled the phaser rifle and aimed for the control panel. "Right I'll just blast you out. Now stand back."

"Meatball, belay that!" Brina snapped out. "I don't need you to be tossed in here either. Get that man to open up the cell door and we've got to get a handle on this! I'm sure you can persuade the Ensign to open this up. After all I'm sure the Chief of Security is in danger as well! Move it Marine!"

"Yes ma'am" Schiano hollered back. Then turned toward the door before he hollered some more. "Oy Ensign I think you and I need to have a word." The young Brig Officer came strolling into the cell block. "What do you need Sergeant?" he said.

"I need you to let the Captain out of this cell before I pop you right in the mouth." Schiano took a step toward the Ensign as he spoke. He shouldered his rifle, as he looked to intimidate the Ensign not kill him.

"Captain Tracy-Hall is to remain in her cell until Major Patton comes to retrieve her. The orders came from Patton himself and they were cosigned by Captain Harrington. I am sorry Sergeant but she has to remain in her cell."

Schiano took two more steps toward the Ensign and was almost nose to nose with the other man. His voice raised from a holler to an all out yell. "Do you have any idea who you are fooling with. I will make you a smear on the butt of a fly of life..." Meatball's tirade was interrupted as the voice of Lieutenant Samson the station's security chief blared out from the comm system. "Attention all personnel Security Alert..."

There was a moment of tense silence as Meatball merely breathed on the man. "Now tell me would you rather have the Captain in here or out on the station kicking ass and taking names. Doing all the dirty things that Marines do best. You have five seconds to decide what side of this coin you are on or I will be forced to end you."

The Ensign was not sure where to go or what to with all the new information. The one thing that he was sure of was that he would rather have Marines helping the security teams taking care of whatever it was that was going on. "Alriiiiiiiiigggggghhhhhtttttt! You win... Computer release the field of cell number nine." Just like that the shimmering blue field that held Brina in disappeared.

Brina stepped out, clapped Meatball on the shoulder, then looked at the Ensign. "Thank you." then she looked back at Meatball. "Let's get moving now!" She wasn't taking time to change out of her current outfit at all. It was time to move.

"Ma'am..." Robert said and turned toward the Ensign. "Like I said things will go better for you if we were never here." He trotted out of the Brig behind Brina.

Brina grinned, as she and Meatball hightailed it out of there. "Thanks for coming to my rescue, now I owe you."
