News Flash,

Announcer's voice :"Welcome to the weekly catch up on Poseidon Station. Our hosts Alice Constance and her cohost Bertram Hunter are here to bring you what is happening upon SB50. Alice take it away."

Alice, the lovely blonde haired hostess had a radiant smile. "Yes today we have quite a lot to cover. The Station is all a buzz with excitment. Not only did we make it through an attack by the Breen." her smile dimmed, she pausing for a moment then said. "First before the other news, let us take a moment of silence for those lost in the Breen attack, the brave souls who fought to save our home from that invading force." she closed her eyes, and the same for Bertram. While a banner was shown displaying the names of those lost with the words rest in peace. It faded away and turned back to Alice and Bertram. Alice was wiping away a tear from her eyes. And the same for Bertram. She took a breath to gather herself then continued. "A memorial for those lost will be put together and placed in a yet to be determined area."

A deep breath and then she continued. "On the other news, on the heels of that attack the station is being repaired thanks to the efforts of the engineering staff."

Bertram gave a nod. "Indeed thank you for all the work you have done. The dark haired host commented, giving a thumbs up.

Alice continued, her eyes bright with excitement. "Now for what is causing a great amount of excitement. Visiting our station is none other than Jackson Porter a famed author. He is a beloved Author with his enticing and well written books. Those who have read his books have been riveted by their contents The Gaian Code, The Time Travelers Dilemma and his most recent one The Quantum Key. There will be a book signing gathering at one of our local bookstores and hope to see everyone there. We also plan on going out to get an interview with him as soon as we can for his readers to enjoy"

Bertram leaned in "I've read his books, they weren't too bad."

"On other news we have something else that also adds to the excitement, we have a huge event coming up as well. It is the wedding of Aer Feshau and Jack Patton, there are a few that wish they could be at that wedding but I am told that it will be a private event, invitations only as security will be tight, but lets wish the bride and groom well for their upcoming nuptials. i do hope that we will get an invite, as this is, as I said, is a big event! Now to you Bertram."

Bertram straightened his shirt collar before he started. "Yes for those who are just tuning in, I wanted to bring up another even that we have on this station. The local merchants have gotten a tour together for those who wish to get familiarized with the cuisine and goods available. Several Highlighted restaurants are for those who have the, notion of going to a fabulous club and fine dining, The Elements which is owned by Sapphire. The next one for more down to earth cooking would be The Admiral on Deck, run by Admiral Terrin Faux good food, good drinks and they have poker nights. Next on the route would be the The White Stag Pub.

Following after if you are in the mood for some cooking straight from New Orleans, go to the Big Easy Bistro. Run by Alphonse and Lisette Bacchus. If you are into stepping into the World of Pirates make certain you visit The Repulsive Sailboat Bar run by Nalasha. Also there is the bar for those who want to rub elbows with Marines, go visit the FUBAR owned and run by Alden Powell, he has fabulous nachos! Last but not least, for a splash of color and culture displaying works of art from those who live here and nearby areas, plus cosmopolitan art from the four quadrants is none other than Mrs Moreau. In fact i do have some art pieces in my own quarters. They are beautfiul."

Alice looked at Bertram with a surprised expression in her eyes. "do you, that is great! When did you get those."

Bertram just smiled at her then turned his dark brown gaze back towards the camera. "There are other places that you can find. They are listed on the directory of the Promenade. Don't be too surprised if you see us out and about as we walk around to interview folks as to what they feel about having that famed author here. And send us some luck to see if we can finalize an interview with Jackson Porter. We will see you next time."

Alice then added. "Also more will come as we keep you updated on events. Alice Constance" she paused.

"And Bertram Hunter signing off for now" he added. "We'll be seeing you later."
