Unexpected changes

"I can't believe what's happened since I last put in a personal log. I keep pinching myself, gently of course to make certain I am not dreaming. And I am not. I am married! I looked at my last log and all I can feel is stunned, and also grateful. The man Liam Reynolds that I had written about, well we found out that we've known each other longer than what we knew. We met when I was ten! I could thank my brothers for this happening. Unknowingly a connection had been made back then, when he gave me that most chivalrous kiss on the cheek. When my brothers had dared Liam to kiss me. He was so handsome back then and is still very handsome even now. I had worried about how quickly we had connected but after our memories had been brought to the surface triggered by Liam's mother, it all makes sense now. And yes it was Liam's whose eyes I had been dreaming of. Yes we are married. Both of us wanted to just have time for ourselves and not let anyone know that we were married. Still keeping to that for the most part.

I am so ecstatic about this! My name is now Kaylee Serra-Reynolds. I just love how that sounds when I say it aloud." Kaylee gives out a brief squeal hugging herself. "I feel that I have changed a lot. All due to finding Liam. I feel so much more complete that the missing piece of my soul has been found."

A spin on her chair then Kaylee's face sobers up.

"Now for the not so happy note. I am still looking for the killer of Doctor Salar, now it is starting to seem that there is more to his murder than what I have realized. Oh I hope we can get to the bottom of this soon." she frowns at this thought.

"Oh yes, almost forgot, I've met a few new people on my patrols. I met a woman by the name of Adira. she's Neil Harrington's wife. she seemed to have forgotten how to live and enjoy life. I had some time off so I coaxed her to do something she liked. Boy can Adira throw an axe. I was very impressed! I tried my hand at it. I did hit the target a few times, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'll have to practice doing that some more. Nothing wrong with working on another skill. Oh speaking of skills. I ended up doing some practice with Lyras, who is part of the medical staff. He's a great guy, and definitely really good with knives. Before we worked on the skill testing for knives, one of my fellow security officers made a snarky comment, I guess trying to gain favor in my eyes. Well that doesn't work well to me. He said I'd be able to beat Lyras and that he'd take on the winner. Well, to his surprise and dismay, that particular security personnel,had to face off with Lyras and Lyras put him down. It was glorious to behold.

At Lyras's request I'm going to be training with him on the phaser. He doesn't like the phaser due to him having had to treat the after effects of those who have suffered phaser burns. I know he doesn't like the weapon but he does need to be more updated in his skills. I don't think I will be able to get him to become a sharpshooter but at the very least he'll be better and be more confident on using one,. Hopefully. "

Kaylee sat back in her chair and rubbed her chin, what else should she put down. Oh yeah there was something else.

"On another note, there is that mysterious ship that is out there. Supposedly a science ship. No one can gain access to it. And I don't know if the Captain even comes off the ship. Well not knowingly of course. He must be some secret agent. I have a bit of a thought of keeping an eye on that ship. It makes me feel ill at ease, Of course most would say that its nothing to worry about but, if I don't know couldn't it be a security risk? Of course I am just speculating on this. However things that don't seem to be what it looks like. It makes the hairs on the back of my neck rise. Eh maybe I am just paranoid. Who knows but to me that still needs to be investigated. "

Kaylee stretched and yawned, feeling a bit weary.

"Well I am getting tired I need a nap. Lieutenant Kaylee Serra-Reynolds signing off for now."
